:) Otsustasin sellest proovikoogist hoopis rummikoogid ehk -pallid veeretada. :) Need said küll väga maitsvad :)
hapukoort
3 spl kakaod (+1 spl veeretamiseks)
Segada on lihtsam käega.
Rum Cakes
The day before yesterday I prepeared a birthday cake all evening along, draining sour cream (Yogurt actually in my case), making the dough, rolling it, baking the cake layers and at the end the cake assembly... I hope that tasted as good as it should taste, although we don't have sour cream here in Istanbul, so I'm sure its not that quite the same it should be... :) Since I used one kilo yoghurt and drained so much water out that I ran out my cream to make a small trial cake for me and so I managed to generate 3 extra cake layers and it's good start to make small rum cakes instead (they are common in Estonia). And, they were very tasty though! :)
If you have some extra sponge cake, pound cake, or some other baking, it is also ideal for rum cake here.
You'll need:
the sponge cake, pound cake, etc. (I had three layers and a bit assembling cream)
50 g butter
sour cream (yogurt)
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder (+1 tablespoon for rolling)
4 tablespoons rum (or some rum extract)
Melt butter, brake the cake into the bowl, add all the other components. Mixing by hand is easier. I added at the beginning of 2 spoon of rum, but rum flavor vanished quite away, and still I had to add that may have ended up even more than the 4 tbsp. It is probably better to use the extract here is no concern that the taste does not come out before the dough is too loose and it is already difficult to roll the cakes. Shape the mixture into balls with your hands and roll into cocoa powder. Refrigerate before serving.
Maintain the rum cakes airtight in the refrigerator.
Väga armsad vaeslapsed!
